DRIVING FOR WILD TOMORROW

 

How far would you go for something you believe in? 

For Allard, Fabian, and Huibert, the answer is 16,000 kilometers. 

These three incredible adventurers are driving from the Netherlands to South Africa—all to raise funds and awareness for Wild Tomorrow and the protection of wildlife. Their journey will take them through 20 countries in just 40 days, with the goal of arriving in South Africa in time to ring in the New Year. 

Their fundraising goal is €35,000, and we are beyond grateful for their passion, commitment, and determination to support Wild Tomorrow’s mission. 

The Reason Behind the Adventure

For Allard, Fabian, and Huibert, this isn’t just a road trip—it’s a statement. Inspired by the resilience and teamwork of wildlife, they want to show the world that with courage and collaboration, anything is possible. 

After visiting South Africa, they saw firsthand how fragile nature and wildlife truly are. They realized that without healthy habitats, there’s no future for animals—or for us. Their mission is to give back to the earth and raise awareness of the urgent need to protect our natural world for generations to come. 

The Exiting Challenges Ahead

Driving across 20 countries won’t be easy. They’ll face unpredictable border crossings, car troubles, delays, and nights spent in unfamiliar places. But for them, these obstacles are part of the adventure—the bumps in the road that make the story worth telling. 
 
It’s the unknown that excites them most. From shifting landscapes to unexpected encounters, they’re eager to embrace every moment, knowing each mile brings them 
closer to protecting African wildlife. And through it all, they’ll create unforgettable memories together—while fueling a cause they believe in.

Travel Essentials 

  • Good coffee – their most important fuel! 

  • A multitool and duct tape – for whatever surprises the road throws at them (duct tape can fix almost anything) 

  • A camera – to capture it all and share (and brag about) the journey with friends, family, and supporters. 

We are incredibly grateful for their passion for wildlife and the Wild Tomorrow Mission of protecting threatened species and their habitats. We can’t wait to see what this amazing journey holds for them and the impact they are going to make.
