At Wild Tomorrow, we believe it is vitally important to support individuals who are passionate about wildlife conservation yet do not have the access or financial resources to gain education, training, or equitable access to wildlife and wild spaces.
Our multi-faceted education program is centered around our new Wild Tomorrow Conservation Center and our ongoing partnerships. The expanding array of educational programs we proudly offer and support are:
Early childhood education. We have built, repaired and supported three kindergarten “creches” in our neighboring Mduku community, supporting over 100 children and their dedicated school teachers across each school year. We provide ongoing operational support including food for daily school lunches, teacher stipends, classroom materials & even school photo days!
iKusasa Lethu environmental education series is our 4-day immersive environmental education program for local community children, held across the school holidays. We will host over 60 children at our Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve, many of whom will get to see wild giraffe, zebra, warthog, and other amazing animals for the first time. Their conservation experience will include safari drives, bushwalks, and other fun activities, taught in their local language, isiZulu.
Skills-based education for local people passionate about nature, including our staff rangers and team of Green Mambas, on wildlife awareness, specialized technical training, computer skills and other educational topics to develop future conservation leaders.
Educating the future stewards of our planet via Lessons in Conservation. Our passionate education partner NGO brings nature into children’s hearts across Africa. Children are taught basic ecological principles and the importance of conservation, creating a long-lasting connection to wildlife and wild spaces.
