MEET HAYLEY MENZIES, OUR NEW AMBASSADOR

Preserving wildlife and protecting their habitats is essential for protecting threatened species from extinction. That's why the support of our ambassadors is so important. Our ambassadors amplify our urgent messages which increases our positive impact on wildlife and wild spaces. We are grateful to be able to expand our team of ambassadors and thrilled to welcome our newest member, Hayley Menzies!

We are extremely excited to welcome Hayley Menzies as our newest ambassador for Wild Tomorrow! Hayley has always been passionate about animals and supporting wildlife conservation charities - making her the perfect ambassador for our work.

Hayley, a London-based fashion designer, is the visionary founder behind Hayley Menzies, a luxury clothing brand renowned for crafting the "vintage of the future" with distinctive prints that draw inspiration from nature. Hayley's journey began with a small market stall in Portobello, which with lots of hard work and dedication, grew into a successful international womenswear brand that remains committed to conscious practices.

Hayley is deeply committed to giving back to the wild in any way she can. Last April, she travelled to South Africa for the first time as a Wild Tomorrow conservation volunteer, helping hands-on with our wildlife conservation projects. During her trip, she learned about rhino dehorning, overpopulation, and the significance of connecting habitat via wildlife corridors. "I feel part of something beautiful," she said, expressing her excitement and commitment to making a difference. By combining her creative talents with her dedication to conservation, Hayley aims to inspire others. Hayley's favorite wildlife moment, experienced while visiting our region, was “watching a wild cheetah and her cubs in their natural habitat.” This experience has greatly influenced her, inspiring her to continue to incorporate animals into her designs.

Committed to sustainability, Hayley favors natural and environmentally friendly materials in her designs - for example by making sure that the yarns she uses are certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (non mulesing) and the Alpaca Association. She believes that investing in sustainable lifestyles and recognizing the impact each of us has on the world is both a collaborative and essential action. Hayley's passion for conservation stems from her belief that the future of wildlife rests on our responsibility to protect it. She emphasizes, “Humans, animals, and wildlife all have equal rights to exist on our beautiful planet. It is up to humans to make a difference, as animals have no control over their fate."

Along with Hayley's enthusiasm and understanding of wildlife and the environment, her skills as a designer make her a valuable advocate for Wild Tomorrow. Her recent collaboration with Wild Tomorrow was her wildly successful Extinction Tour T-shirts, which she designed and launched to “raise awareness and celebrate wildlife within my collections. Many of my designs feature animals, allowing us to continually discuss extinction issues and engage in activities that highlight how individuals can contribute to the bigger picture." Hayley's efforts raised over £10,000 in support of our work, and brought heightened awareness to the importance of saving wildlife.

When asked what being an ambassador for Wild Tomorrow meant to her, Hayley explained, "I'm honored to become an ambassador and am committed to learning, sharing my knowledge, and raising awareness and funds. I feel part of something beautiful and am excited and dedicated to collaborating on making a change."

Welcome, Hayley! We look forward to seeing what you accomplish next for the wild world we love.
