DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

With a lifelong passion for wildlife and deep family roots in South Africa, Kirsten’s love for the natural world began early. She earned her degree in marketing from Roger Williams University with the goal of connecting people more deeply to the importance of protecting nature.

Africa has always held a special place in her heart — the source of many unforgettable wild moments, from whales breaching in the open ocean to the simple sound of cicadas at night.

Kirsten joined Wild Tomorrow as a Summer/Fall Intern in New York, where she supported fundraising campaigns, communications strategy, and strategic operations. After six months, she stepped into a full-time role as Development and Operations Associate, continuing to advance the organization’s mission to protect and restore wildlife and wild places.
