LOUIS BUCKWORTH
BOARD DIRECTOR
How did you become inspired to help African wildlife conservation?
Due to a love of wildlife held by my parents, I was brought up surrounded by stories of the African bush. Many years later these powerful images came to life when I visited the Kruger National Park with my wife. I was hooked from that very moment and knew that I wanted to help in any way I could to preserve these magical places for my own children.
Why did you choose to join the Board?
I was honoured to be asked to join this accomplished board. I had hoped that I was able to put my fundraising skills to good use and build upon the solid infrastructure that Wild Tomorrow has created. Furthermore, a major part of our work is hinged upon executing successful real estate deals, something I would hope to be able to assist with.
What inspires you the most about Wild Tomorrow's mission?
Wild Tomorrow has an all-encompassing mission of wildlife conservation however it has set some very ambitious and well-defined goals for the near future. I am inspired by the accomplishments to date and the apparent ease with which the team has made good on its promises. Wild Tomorrow gives me hope for the future of my family, friends and our planet.
