MICHAEL SOLAZZO

Michael is a Vice President at U.S. Bank supporting the build out of corporate coverage for independent power producers. Before joining U.S. Bank, Michael was an Assistant Vice President of project finance at BayernLB where he lent capital to utility scale infrastructure projects with a focus on solar, wind and battery technologies. Prior to working at BayernLB, Michael worked for Inclusive Prosperity Capital, a not-for-profit, focusing on developing clean energy infrastructure in low-to-moderate income communities. He started his career at Franklin Templeton where he spent time on the sustainability research team and the European private equity social infrastructure fund. 

Michael received a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics from Union College with minors in both Mechanical and Environmental Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. Michael is passionate about sustainable development and protecting biodiversity.
