MICHIKO HIRANUMA
MARKETS INNOVATION & INVESTMENTS

Michiko is based in New York City and originally from Japan. She brings diverse and global experience spanning investment banking, startups, corporate investor relations, and financial markets. She currently works in Markets Innovation & Investments at an investment bank, collaborating with institutional clients, external partners, and internal teams to drive innovation in electronic trading.

A lifelong animal lover, Michiko volunteers at shelters in New York and recently took a sabbatical to volunteer full-time at an animal shelter in O’ahu, Hawaii. She has also joined Wild Tomorrow’s conservation trip in KwaZulu-Natal.

She is fluent in English and Japanese, has intermediate proficiency in Korean, and is currently studying Spanish. She holds a B.S. from Babson College and an MBA from Cornell University.
