SARAH BUSTAMANTE
FALL INTERN

Ever since she was a young child, Sarah has always had an innate curiosity, respect, and connection with animals.

Her journey has been an eclectic one, beginning with her first love: primatology, especially Jane Goodall and chimpanzees. She was a volunteer for the Kansas City Zoo for 2 years, working with African animals. She has also participated in various research projects and labs focused on primates and elephants.

Sarah is currently earning her Master's in Animal Behavior & Conservation at Hunter College, as she hopes to work in the wildlife conservation organization realm. Above all, Sarah wants to make a difference in the lives of wildlife and their conservation, no matter how big or small. She feels that it is an absolute honor to be devoting her life to the nurture and protection of nature and biodiversity.
