FROM YOGA MATS TO SPIN BIKES: HOW LONDON IS JOINING THE WILD TOMORROW MOVEMENT
Our World Lion Day 2026 Spin event at Psycle!
Wild Tomorrow’s work is powered by a global community united around our mission to create a wildlife corridor, protecting wildlife and endangered species, empowering communities, and benefiting the planet overall. This year, that community grew in an exciting new direction: London, UK has become a hub of activity, with two successful events already behind us and more on the way.
Read on to discover how London is becoming an exciting new hub for Wild Tomorrow in 2026.
GROWING OUR GLOBAL COMMUNITY
Did you know Wild Tomorrow is an established charity in three countries — the United States (since 2015), South Africa (2016), and the United Kingdom (2023)? Operating across all three countries means we can build a greater community and network of people, growing our support for wildlife conservation. This year has been especially exciting for us, as we officially hosted two events this summer in London, with our sights already set on more to come.
REWILD: LIBERATING OUR INNER AND OUTER LANDSCAPE
Our first event was hosted in collaboration with The Space, a yoga and sound studio in Clapham. The calming, natural atmosphere of the studio set the tone for our two-hour event, Rewild: Liberating our Inner and Outer Landscape. The event was also part of London Climate Action Week, a week dedicated to bringing visibility to the work being done for the future of local and global climate action — and we were honored to be part of it.
During Rewild, attendees worked through tools for connecting with their inner nature in a session led by Lilly, founder of The Space and host of the podcast Expanding Inward (be sure to check out the episode featuring Wild Tomorrow founders Wendy and John), featuring somatic movement and a closing sound bath led by Charlene, who manages and teaches at The Space. We ended the evening in a circle, where attendees could ask questions and satisfy their curiosity about wildlife and the work Wild Tomorrow does.
Every attendee left with a bracelet supporting the Green Mambas, an all-women ecological restoration team — and a goodie bag filled with products generously provided by Urban Veda.
PEDALING FOR A PURPOSE
For World Lion Day in August, we gathered with energy and motivation to ride for the wild. You can read more about the fate and facts of lions in our recent blog post here. Led by Jaemon at Psycle, the spin event was full of good energy — raising awareness and funds lions and all species who share their threatened habitats.
SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT: URBAN VEDA
We're endlessly grateful for the support we've received so far, for our community's expansion into the UK, and for sponsors like Urban Veda who make it possible
Inspired by the ancient principles of Ayurveda, Urban Veda - proudly vegan and cruelty-free - blends timeless Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary self-care rituals for radiant, balanced well-being. Their award-winning products are formulated with sustainably sourced botanicals and made in the UK to restore harmony to mind, body, and skin.
Urban Veda is also a member of 1% for the Planet, pledging at least 1% of their annual revenue to support environmental nonprofits like Wild Tomorrow.
We were so impressed and grateful for Urban Veda's generosity at our first event that we were thrilled when they came on board to support our second — proof that this is a partnership built to grow alongside our London community.

LOOKING AHEAD
Both events showed us — and everyone who joined us — that meaningful change doesn't require grand gestures. It's grassroots: it happens when people from all walks of life show up, whether on a yoga mat or a spin bike, and take part in something bigger than themselves. We believe everyone should have a way in, a way to be part of the greater wildlife and environmental movement necessary for the wellbeing of all living things.
And this is just the beginning. We're already planning our next London events, so make sure to sign up for our UK mailing list to be the first to hear when and where we'll be gathering next.
Finally, if you'd like to run a marathon, half marathon, or super half, join our dedicated Team Elephant. We have a team for the London Marathon, and we'd love to support you as you support wildlife!
