An African Pygmy Kingfisher at Wild Tomorrow’s Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve.

TRIP PRICING

If you choose to join us in April or October 2025 the cost of your two-week Conservation Experience Trip is $3950 (of which $2000 is tax-deductible). In the name of transparency, here is how this figure is calculated:-

  • $1950 is the COST of the trip. This pays for all accommodation, meals, in-country travel, and all day & night activities. This portion is not tax-deductible.

  • $2000 is a direct DONATION in support of Wild Tomorrow’s critical conservation work. This includes the activities you will personally participate in, for example, a wildlife intervention (such as a rhino dehorning - a costly exercise involving helicopters and wildlife vets). Your donation also supports our important habitat conservation work including anti-poaching ranger costs, fencing, and animal reintroductions. As this is a donation, it is tax-deductible. Many volunteers choose to crowdfund this portion (and we can help you to set up your personal fundraising page or provide you with content for social media pages/posts).

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF OUR TRIPS

  • Pick up and drop off from Richards Bay Regional Airport.

  • Thirteen nights of accommodation at 3-4 star lodges, tented accommodation, and/or beach cottages.

    * Please note that the itinerary is subject to change based on conservation activities and locations. For example, you may stay one or two nights at a government wildlife reserve if wildlife management work is required.

CROWDFUNDING YOUR TRIP
A popular way to raise the $2000 donation component of your trip is through crowdfunding. For anyone interested in this option, we will provide you with a personal crowdfunding page on GoFundMe. We also recommend using Facebook and Instagram as great platforms to involve friends and family in supporting the conservation work you will be contributing to. Please feel free to reach out to Tori at tori@wildtomorrow.org if you have any queries about fundraising for this portion of the trip.

CORPORATE MATCHING
Many companies are delighted to have employees volunteer their time and money to charitable efforts. See if your company has a matching donation policy. They can help get you to your fundraising goal.

If you are not planning to crowdfund, you can pay at any time.
